Once more reaching out to yall. Second time I’m having an issue with Baja kits. First time around I was send the wrong axle shafts and now this. The pictures do a better explanation of what’s going on and I’m wondering if anyone else had the same issues. Last time I was told the parts should just fit right in and go but I’m starting to believe the whole kit is to the wrong car. I can’t force it in either

I didn’t have any issues with those pieces. Seems like who ever put together that whole package of parts got mixed up with ranger and f150 parts.

Is it in straight?

It's hard to tell in the pics, but it looks a little crooked, pull it back out and make sure there is no burr or edge inside of the bore hanging it up.

If you thread the nut on and there is a gap on one side to the washer (which looks to be the bottom side in the pic) then you should be able pull it out to clean up the hole and maybe make sure there is no sharp edge on the steel part, smooth it out if so.

Then try again making sure it's not cocked a little, heat will expand the aluminum which will help going in.

Good luck!!

At this point I’m going to ask them to resend me the ranger kit since it’s the second issue I’ve experienced and might just think the upper and lower control arms dont go for the kit

It’s sitting flush. If I machine press it in with one piece frozen and the other heated it still wouldn’t fit. I’ve been told it might be the f150 kit. I tried pressing it in slightly and nothing

Could they be parts for the steel knuckles and not the aluminum ones. There is a difference in the size and the taper, I believe.

That's the picture effect, it looks off a little in them, sorry.

Have you pulled it out and measured things?

Good luck.

Hey do you have an IG I can message you on? I’m putting together my kit and they sent me the wrong shafts. The upper control arms are good but I haven’t started the lower and I have a feeling it’s not going to be right. Looks like they did the same to me as you.
