Auto Stop still works in sport mode ?

hey all , 2021 xlt 4x4 700 miles .... it has been working normal , but on my way home this evening it shut off at a light while in sport mode , i played with the button and in and out of drive , sport mode but it now , for some reason , ASS 's me in sport mode ...

Ahh then. Another thing that was wrong with my lemon and never knew.

Before I added the LED nightlight mine would disengage in S mode too. Now it's off for good.

Mine will disengage in Sport mode but I can turn it back on by hitting the ASS button.

I’ve never had it activate in S mode at a red light or stop sign - tomorrow, I’ll actually come to a stop at one and see if it does.

All kidding aside, that shouldn’t happen.

Nowhere in the manual does it mention that Sport mode prevents the system from working under the:

It does say you need to be in Drive for it to work. Does that also mean A-S-S won’t work in Sport? I think so. I have the nightlight plugged in, so IDK.

Well something else for me to try out on the way home from work today.

As of ten minutes ago my ASS does not activate in Sport mode. But I don’t play around with the ASS much. If I’m tooling around town in D then I just leave it alone, if traffic gets bad I’ll turn it off. Most of the time it seems like I am in some situation where it is disabled; Sport, Tow, off-road.

Well as of this morning , its back to good , as soon as I bring it back to sport , it disengages... Not sure why it went off the rails yesterday... Ill probably get a damn nitelight or an eliminator... If you brake just right you can control it a little....kinda... I hate the damn thing honestly... Default should be OFF Mr. Ford ...
