The heat is brutal on the batteries, mine had a dead cell in 18 months. They replaced it under warranty back in April.
Yeah, I've been in Florida for 15 years now and have replaced several batteries in my cars. Biggest one is in my Porsche and Wife's MG GLE350. Both the same batteries and 900 CCA AGM weighing 58lbs! Just had my Ranger battery tested and it's fine as is the Charging system. Volt meter tests at 12.61 V

Changed out my battery to a new Duralast Platinum 850CCA AGM battery and after a few miles of "Vehicle Charging" messages on AutoStop/Start info screen the AutoStop/Start started working again! The problem I also had with the Handle lock/unlock disappeared as well! Good thing I'm buying this thing off Lease in February next year!

Just when the cold hit this season, I have been getting 'vehicle charging' when the AS/S is supposed to have stopped the engine. Temps are about 30's. A voltage monitor in the 12V socket shows about 14.7V at idling at a light. Is this a problem?

Friday yet?

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
I don't disagree with going to the dealer, but it is very easy to get a rough check of the battery by putting a voltmeter across it.
Always my go to. Put the meter on it.

14.7 is good, but battery might not be taking the charge, but a quick alternator check below

Engine Running - No Loads (AC/Lights Off) @ 1500 RPM - 14.1 to 15.1 Volts
Engine Running - Loaded (AC-ON, Blower -High) (Headlight's- On) - @ 2,000 RPM around 13 Volts or 0.5 Volts over base voltage of battery when truck is shut off

I'll give that a try when I remember.
