Same with me. Mine is triggered by the reflection of my high beams off street signs on curvy roads. I turned off auto high beams after using it twice.I don't think they are speed based but more about sensing the lights in front of you.
I live in a hilly/curvy area and the auto high beams almost give me an epileptic seizure with their constant flipping.
Every time I top a hill or round a curve I encounter a street light or other type of lighting that just happens to be at the right angle to appear to be an oncoming vehicle.
I've had several vehicles with the feature and NONE of them have worked correctly in this area.
If I get out on the highway, they work fine.
