I think that’s a bit overkill for what I’m after I’m only wiring up these lights I don’t think they draw much power

I will do more research and see what’s safe for the rangers

In that case, one simple relay with an inline fuse would be pretty easy, safe, and mean just one separate switch.

Of course, if your "shower in the bed" switch really does nothing, the relay could be triggered by it. Who cares what that icon is, you know what you'd use it for.

If not a big amp draw, I guess you could skip a relay and tap a fuse. There should be some blank fuses you could tap. I "fuse tapped" #29 for my dashcam - I wanted a circuit that was always on so the the night mode could be used by the cam.

Your fuses are likely different, but this was easy for me (which means, easy for anyone!). =)

Let us know what you do, I'd like to add some aux front lights to mine.

If you're running many things that can draw serious amps, I'd suggest wiring in an auxiliary fuse block to tap into.

I've run big old school KC lights off a relay wired straight to the battery, but a fuse block would be neater with more options, I think.

I do have a backup alarm directly tapped into the Ranger backup lights and I have seen folks tap bed lights that way too. Both of those draw very little amperage.
