I have a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat sport, sabre orange. Around 20 k miles. Im thinking about selling it before my bronco comes in. Has Ford performance fox shocks and a few other add ons. Really clean/nice shape. What are they going for now. Just curious

Ck KBB and some of the others to get a trade estimate. A dealer will still probably come in under that some. Low miles for a 19 and if 4 WD that will help.

They aren't worth anything. Ship it to me and I'll dispose of it properly.

Seriously, you would get a more accurate number by going on one of the appraisal sites like KBB.com ,Carvana.com, Cars.com or several others. They more accurately reflect your local market values. There is no cost or obligation to either buy or sell. Also, many dealers are now offering free appraisals

I can guarantee your truck has value. My truck when totaled had roughly fifty four thousand miles on it I still owed 31000 and after my deductible I'm still getting money back.

Carvana.com, Vroom.com, and Carmax.com will give you an instant value appraisal though lately Vroom has been significantly less than the others.

The KBB trade in value seems optimistically high, but you can also get a KBB Instant Cash Offer on the same page.

I did the Instant Cash Offer once and it was lower than Carmax or Carvana, but several dealers contacted me promising to give me more than the KBB ICO.

Another thing to keep in mind is how taxes are calculated on a vehicle sale in your area.

In GA, you pay tax on the difference between the vehicle you're trading in vs the one you're buying.

This can be thousands of dollars in taxes if you sell your truck for cash and then buy the new one.

Example @7% tax:

Current truck $40k, desired new Bronco $50k.

Sell truck outright and put the $40k toward the Bronco @$50k + taxes which would be roughly $3500 so $53500.

Trade truck toward Bronco at $40k and now pay tax only on the $10k difference or $700 so total is now $50700.

YMMV and Good Luck.

10-4 on the sales tax. I think most states that have sales tax apply it to the trade difference, if any: no trade, tax on the full selling price. Wisconsin is the same, but I still made out when I sold my '18 Escape to Carvana instead of trading it in on my Ranger last year.

What do you mean non Existent. You are right bronco raptors are not produced yet. The order banks close march 28. Then production begins soon after. End of summer is my guess. They are only making a few thousand of the raptors in 22.

I know the timeline. Which is how I knew you ordered at most 3 days ago. My point is that it is a very aggressive timeline for a company who has severely overestimated their own skill to launch a vehicle.

There are people who ordered a non Raptor Bronco over a year ago who haven't seen it yet. If you think your Raptor will be delivered this summer you're kidding yourself.
