In addition there’s no home button on the screen in CarPlay (that I can find) and on the lariat, there’s no home button on the steering wheel.
Push the volume button on the console.

In android auto there's an "exit" button which takes you to sync home.
I just got something similar when I upgraded to iOS 13. So it’s not an tragedy anymore :)

The slider is for ventilation, not carrying cargo.

My go...you have a truck bed. Why would you have to stick anything thought the vent window????
SuperCrew = 5 ft bed
SuperCab= 6 ft bed

Buy a couple pieces of flimsy 8 ft long trim, or small diameter pvc or (fill in the blank). Slide open the window, slide the flimsy stuff through it, secure it in the bed using the back (2) tie downs, wrap a shop rag around the flimsy stuff where it goes through the back window, and then drive off.

Did this probably 20 times in the 17 years I owned my Tacoma with the 3 piece sliding rear window. Eazy Peazy and very handy.

Done this twice now with my new Ranger. Great way to haul long stuff as long as it isn't too heavy.

Also get an old swimming pool noodle, cut it as wide as the opening, slice it length wise and use it to cushion vibration of objects.

Pvc? Use tie downs. Let excess hang over tailgate.

Extra flimsy. Tailgate down for 7 foot. Secure with tie downs.

Easy peasy. Never had an issue. Never used window for cargo.

My pet peeves are the garage door buttons are on the sun visor. Flip the visor over to use the garage door opener if I'm using the visor when I pull into the garage. Shoulda put it on the upper center console!!! Also, the rearview mirror autodims with bright lights behind me. Why not the side mirror too?? I love my Ranger but things are never perfect. The autostop is dumb to me, but at least you can turn it off. I'm not so hot on the safety collision avoidance stuff, it's kicked in many times and not once for a legit reason. Even after I turned it off, it still kicks in. What's up with that??

We’re not talking about 8, things, we’re talking about 16’ things.

Hi John,

Yep! This is well know in the RV circles. swimming noodle segments in the fridge are imperative to keep things in place. Also, when the slides are out the edges are ouchies so a bit on the edges protects your melon from a gash! :shock:

Best.

There's to much crap on the center stack as it is. Unless you have more than one garage door opener do what I did. My visor is down 99% of the time so I programed them all to open my door so I just reach in and push any button. :like:

We use them also to protect the bottom edge of the windshield when removing the cowl and doing under hood work. One little nick there and crack!
In fact, new windshields come out of the box with something similar around the parameter of the glass. I save them too.
Say hello to Margie for me.
