Anyone say, I should have purchased a different truck?

Not I.
I merely meant I'm not likely to go rock crawling, and I can see the Ridgeline being capable of the kind of lighter off roading I might be inclined to do as opposed to the more strenuous stuff some of our members here like to do with their Rangers (even when stock set up).

I'm with ya, and it's why a '23 Ridgeline will probably be my next vehicle when I trade in my Ranger in the near future. It's more than capable enough for me. Plus it's incredibly practical and comfortable (for me). And if I ever wanted to get into rock crawling or extreme off roading, I would probably go with a non-pickup platform.

Is it for everyone? Not at all. But I like it and having owned multiple Hondas, I really like their quality and reliability.

Dude. The Ridgeline is massively underrated. I would wager that it is capable of more 'Truck Stuff' than 75% of people who own trucks will ever use their truck for. Now it won't work for the people in here that tow huge campers or turn their vehicles into off-roading champs, but it's a more than capable vehicle.
I wouldn't consider a ridgeline because of the too-small bed and four door cab. Of course, I can't consider a new ranger, either. ?‍♂
