Curious if anyone has ever drilled into the back cab wall behind the rear seats? Like if you did stereo upgrades or deleted your rear seat and drilled, or used nutserts for mounting things?
I have been thinking of putting a universal molle panel back there since I did the seat delete. Mounting it is where I have some concerns. Mounting directly to the back panel might not be ideal as it is not hard plastic, it's like carpeted fiber board that's kinda flimsy, and I feel that the weight of the panel will cause it to rattle against the back metal cab, especially off roading. So I have been tossing around the idea of doing nutserts, maybe with some nylon or ABS spacers (if needed depending where the holes would be placed) then screwing right through the carpeted back panel into the nutserts. Anything to worry about or be aware of behind that wall (besides the bed of the truck
) like wiring or anything?
