Years ago, I had a 1989 Ranger XLT Supercab. It had a small cargo net mounted on the cab's rear wall and was pretty handy. The net is visible in this photo (not my truck).

I bought a 2019 XLT Supercab and did the rear seat delete per a thread that I found on this forum. The rear wall panel has a big flat area, perfect for a new storage net. So bought a pair of these 10" high x 21" wide: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N78SJX7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Note that smaller nets around 10" high x 16" wide are more common and often a pair is less than $10 on ebay or Aliexpress.

That looks great.

btw - you can flip the short female end of those seat belts into the storage cubbies and still close the covers.

You can kind of see it in this picture right where the carpet is folded up.

Duke - Ford did not design the bin covers to be able to to tuck the seat belt buckles underneath. Remember, you either buy an XL with the rear seat delete kit which doesn't have the seats or seatbelts at all, or you get an XLT or Lariat with seats and seatbelts. Only an idiot would want something else!

I was able to close the bin lids over the seatbelts, but had to force it a bit. Then the corner of the plastic bin cover didn't sit flush in that area. Also, there is an electric wire to the seatbelt buckle that may break if left compressed for a long time.

However, I think that a little work with a Dremel to the underside of the lid would make it all work really well. I'll think about doing this when the weather gets a bit nicer.

The seatbelt latch appears to be held on with one big Torx fastener. I don't know what it threads into, though. And that still leaves the electrical wire to the seatbelt to figure out.

I use the seat belts every week to secure stuff we're hauling in the SuperCab. Luggage, coolers, etc.

I guess if we called them "self adjusting load retention straps" then they'd be all the rage. :like:

And the stock seat backs also help to keep things from sliding from side to side.
