Well, if I can step in momentarily. I don't know any damper jokes. But I sure like how I go from one dimension to another at 88 mph because I installed my damper.
The secret is replacing the air inside of it with pure helium which negates a need for a flux capacitor. It also helps the truck to laugh at all those behind you in a really high-pitched whine as you leave their vision (and dimension). Have you ever heard a turbo on helium?

Hope he's well! I'm in the stinking hospital for the 2nd time this month. I had a personal tune installed ...friggin pacemaker. Went in for a followup with the cardiologist and he said you ain't leaving and sent Me to addmissions...THAT put a damper on my day! Spending the night, had surgery at 3pm. Not exactly how I planned to start retirement. Let alone another surgery scheduled on the 31st.??

I blame TV and movies.

by now, the TV forensic investigators would have DNA on his last meal, known which direction he headed because of his cell phone roaming. tracked his licence plate through toll roads and most likely already spoke with him and found out he wants to be off the grid for awhile.

Contrary to what most people think, I don't really have much additional access other than moderating posts. I don't even think there is a phone number on file for most members as it is not data that gets asked for. @Administrator might have some more info.

I hope Dave is OK - it is very unusual for him to not post for this long.
