This sounds a lot like the pro power onboard setup the hybrid F150 has. That's one of the few things I would actually consider paying a new truck price for. I'm not sure it's for everyone and I'm sure the hybrid is not as reliable a drive train but for our application it would be great.

Drive train is the same as our NA trucks. The exception being a 75kw motor integrated into the 10R80 transmission

dont try and plug your house into that tiny 450W armrest inverter LOL
its not enough to run a simple drill and will blow a fuse
for $10 you can buy a 750W at walfart or a 2200W at a truck stop for $100 on Amazon I got a 3500W for $400

Ford’s New Ranger Has One Feature Usually Reserved For EVs
The new Ranger PHEV that's not offered in America has V2L capability allowing you to use it as an off-grid power source

For me it would probably cover 80-90% of my normal usage ( short commutes around town). At $.17 per kwh cost I’d be looking at around $2.00 to get 26 miles. As compared to around $4.42 to get 26 miles on gas at $3.00 a gallon ( @ 18-19mpg). So a significant savings for me.
Even if I had a 30 mile round trip to Walmart it would cost about $2.68 combined electric and 4 miles on gas. As compared to $5.10 on gas only. Everybody’s situation is different though.

Yes, it is setup similar to what my Powerboost F150 does, just with about 10x the battery and able to be charged from a wall outlet. Truth be told, had they brought the Ranger PHEV here I woulnd't have bought the F150.

As for the motor being integrated into the trans. Yes and no. The motor essentially integrates with the torque converter and an extra clutch.

Not in the 150. It's just a 1.5kw battery pack. More of a hybrid assist than anything.

The Ranger will go 10x as far, so probably 10 miles or so.

Winter everything takes a big hit so I've heard.
