Just to remind @AzScorpion of what he's missing.

It's perfect for snowballs and also perfect to throw my shoulder out just trying to clear it off the truck!

It's at 7" on the tonneau and I'm about to go do a snow thrower pass on the driveway, it's currently pretty awful for all my Ranger accessory deliveries! =D

I didn't mind the light fluffy snow it was super easy to snow blow. The wet heavy stuff would always such a pain to do and like you it was murder on the shoulders and back.

This is why we endure the summer heat and it's even cooler than normal this year. :giggle::sun:

Who was it that said:

What doesn't kill me, makes me take a hell of a lot more Excedrin and Advil!

Been snowing here all day. Accumulation on the ground = 0 It’s been 34 degrees or higher all day. The bombogenesis was a LIE!!!
Another bust for EMA but it's all in WMA and the Berkshires. The most recent totals are from 6 hours ago so who knows how much more they have now?

How much snow do we have so far? One Berkshire hilltown has more than 2 feet on the ground

With heavy snow continuing to fall in parts of Berkshire County, a weather observer in Windsor reported 25 inches on the ground by 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Other totals compiled by the National Weather Service varied widely, but countywide averages should top out at 12 inches or more by the time the snow begins tapering off Tuesday afternoon.

Power remains out for thousands in Berkshire County. Officials say roads are dangerous and it's 'only going to get worse'

“Trees everywhere, wires everywhere,” said West Stockbridge/Richmond Fire Chief Steven Traver. “Stay home.”

Where I am near Sacramento, it never snows. I can visit the snow within a fairly short drive but don't live in it.

That's the best way, I can do the same here up in Flagstaff.

Or Payson. ??

In NEK Vermont they predicted 2-5" through wednesday. We got 8+ so far and more coming tonight. Not heavy wet snow. Very packable, but powdery. Now, prediction is 8-12 by end of Wednesday.
No issues driving on unplowed roads, snow tires on and 4x4 too. Now sensor warnings were going off because they were blocked...

Mine went off too! I just have an XL so I think I only have a sensor/camera in the rear view area.

I'm looking for an alternative to a snowblower. How well does that utv push snow? Do they have the traction?power to pulllogs out of woods?
Kubota?
And we got lucky, only 16" fell here. Read that March is the snowiest month of year in VT. Off to a decent start...

It pushes snow good but nothing like a blower for the lake snow we get. I have a kubota BX with a 4 ft pto blower for when it gets to the point we run out of room to push it and when we get 3 to 4 ft drifts a plow is useless against. If you get storms in a row a blower is the way to go. A winter like this where one snow melts before the next arrives the side by side is nice. Here's a video of my blower and it can handle over 3 ft of snow

Here's the plow.
