Sometimes poster, mostly lurker.. I reached a point where the Ranger just wasn't enough at times. I bit the bullet and got a 2022 F150 Lariat Powerboost - delivery tomorrow. :)

More truck than I need, but hopefully the last one for a while.

That said, I have a Burger Motorsports JB4 tuner for the Ranger, that I'm willing to get rid for fairly cheap. PM me if interested.

Thanks to all for the the laughs and knowledge over the years!

Congrats on the new F150 Mark! Hopefully it suites your needs better than the Ranger did. They are very nice trucks, I've had several of them but they're just to big now. Good luck with it and Merry Christmas!!

570 ft/lbs puts a smile on the face.. It will be another adjustment in size to get used to it, but overall, I'll enjoy it in the long run. My wallet, not so much... My wife smartly didn't ask how much I paid either.

Also, I will miss my tailgate dampener and will watch my arms slowly wilt when I use the power tailgate..

Hey, the 150 is a great truck, probably the greatest truck (just too big for me, not to mention my garage), and I wish you the best!

Nice, but I have to park in the garage, too many damn thieves around these days.
It's definitely not fitting in the garage, but the Ranger didn't either. Cameras, insurance, and firearms make it ok though. And a super-low crime rate where I live helps too.

I actually have all of that 'except' the super low crime rate. It was low until covid put everyone out of work and on the street, just glad the Ranger fits inside. The cameras are good for after the fact, same for firearms unless you catch them in the act, even if you do just hope they are armed also so you can claim self defense, can't shoot someone outside your home unless they pose a threat to your life.

Agreed. Insurance is my main go-to in a situation like that. It's just a truck. I don't want to hurt or kill anyone over an inanimate object. My ego is long gone - take the truck, there are more; I'll get over it.

Come into my house... Eh?

Not so politely ask them to leave my truck alone and respond with appropriate force if they choose not to. If they come in my house though, lethal force is a much earlier option.
Strangely crime decreased quite a bit in my neighborhood when covid hit.

In my house? At that point
It is simply target practice. No questions asked.

We mainly see crimes of opportunity around here, theft of property left out, gas thieves with Kentucky credit cards, Catalytic converters are big. We do have a new law making it illegal for anyone or any place to purchase cat's without being licensed, and the seller has to provide a scanable drivers license for ID. Not stopping the backdoor buyers loading up a truck for out of state delivery.
