It's entirely possible, I could never find anything that really explained it and I wasn't about to chance it.Your valve train rattle, I'd bet was the EGR piece that has its own long thread.
Mine was replaced about 2 years ago and needs it again.
I have one foot out the door as well. I'm paying my '21 off a year early as soon as this week. Interest was really good, so I wasn't in a rush.
I've been looking around for a replacement.
Thanks! I loved my 04 F150 too, it wasn't nearly as nice but it was great for what I wanted.Congrats on the new ride dude! I had a couple of different F150s before getting my 22 Ranger. The last F150 I had my Dad bought from me after the Ranger came in. I like your old Ranger BTW!![]()
I always talked to people and came to the conclusion my ranger was "Stock+" - it wasn't the most capable of upgraded rig out there, but it WAS capable and I never got left behind, I could still get 22mpg on the highway, it still did truck stuff exactly how I needed, but it was noticeably not stock. I will miss it, but it was time.
