That should be a good starting point and you'll notice a big difference in the ride. If you do go off road just go down to 18 psi and it'll be a much better ride over the rocks and bumps. My tire deflators are preset to 18 psi and I've never had any problems with the bead falling off because you're going slow. I've gone as low as 16 psi but haven't gone any lower than that.Was def confused why dealer set so high but will try 35-38psi range tmrw. Payload capacity is up to 2128lbs on the Ranger and my 265/65R17 XL tire load capacity is at 2379lbs for 35psi set-point.
