Good information, thanks! If statement #2 is correct than I might just be fine with that. Since right now I have it set up that all the parking lights (front, side, rear) are my DRLs through Forscan already anyways. So if that's the case then I'd be fine with this wiring setup.

Thanks much!
You're welcome. I'm going to test with and without the DRL module when I install so I'll know for sure.

Based on what I'm reading from your doc and the way this harness is wired, it appears they've wired 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 on their assemblies. The brown wire is the additional wire that plugs into their DRL harness.
Sounds like from reading their explanation that the only reason for the DRL module is to run the strips at full intensity with the headlight switch off. I'd try it without and see how it works. I keep my switch in auto mode all the time anyway. Maybe it really is just plug and play then.

That's my thought too. I keep it in auto unless I want them on before they'd kick on. That's my plan. I'm going to get things installed without the DRL module plugged in and see what happens. Should be an adventure.

Are you looking at it upside down? Pins 2 & 3 are low/high beam so they gotta be there. Going off your pic, pins 1 thru 4 are wired, I can see 5 (red) but I can't tell if there is a gap between it & the yellow wire.

Edit: btw...the pdf is the trucks side of the harness

Definitely was looking at it wrong. I was in a hurry earlier and didn't pay enough attention.

Based on this and if I'm reading the PDF correctly (I think I got it this time), we have 1 (blk), 2 (wht), 3 (blue), 4 (blk), 6 (ylw), and 8 (red) on this connector. Which still doesn't make sense based on the circuit functions in the PDF.

I Received my Luxx order on Thursday 3/11/21. Had to do some reading/ investigating. Headlights are plug and play, the DRL harness provided ( has a positive and ground connection it also has a wire with a fuse tap on it already { ing source } 2 more 1 wire each going to headlights ). Now it my understanding everything will work Start up sequence, DRL, everything. What DRL harness is suppose to do is make DRL more intense ( brighter in daylight, not so bright with lights on ). With that being said no splicing factory wiring, only adding a fuse tap ( which is provided ). Now Just need fair weather in Southern California ( Ontario ) and the time to install.

Now obviously these will look good on our trucks but what we really need are photos of the light outpu on the "ROAD"!!!!!!!! Obviously they are brighter on the truck and I coud care less about that. Please someone get a picture of before and after on the road. Preferably someone who had drop in leds in halogen housings.

Anyone get the alpha-black pro series? Those would be the only ones I am remotely interested in.
I would not be surprised if someone did. Just from the visuals they are similar to the luxx series.

I'm doing my install tomorrow, I'll see if I can make this happen. I have drop in LEDs in in my halogen housings currently. No promises, but I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, the hardest part is finding a comparable location to do said picture, while also keeping photo settings the same.

Those are the ones I'm considering as well. Bouncing between regular black and alpha black, but Pro series nevertheless. I don't want the startup sequence and these seem like a good price, relatively.

I just took the LED replacement bulbs out of my truck and put them in my wife's Escape, so now I really need to start thinking if these are functionally worth the upgrade or not.
Overall projector seem to do better than most anything else more light output on the road. It's just a question of whether or not you want to stay with LED full-time or be able to have a halogen in it.
