Agree with you on the low RPMs. Amazing how low they are compared to my F-150 I got out of. No strain on the powertrain at all and it still zips along with little effort. :)
Still waiting for mine but what are your thoughts on the 2.3 vs. 5.4? I love the way my F-150 builds solid torque getting on the highway, just curious how the 2.3 compares.

It seems to get up to highway speed just as quick if not better than my 5.4 V8. And I'm not putting much foot into it either. This truck is quick! I was very pleased with the acceleration when I got it. No worries about passing even at 70 mph. To me it's a smoother drive train than what I had in my 2004 F-150 with the 5.4 V8 and a 4-speed automatic.

I get around 19.5 after 600 miles. But ... and this is a big one, I have found I can't drive this truck like I did my 2005 3.0L Ranger. It's throttle is touchy, Compare it to the old 4 barrel carbs, keep the back two closed using only the front two and you got good gas mileage, open all four barrels and drive from gas station to gas station. watch your RPM's and see what happens.
Thanks, I may just be a crappy driver. I traded my 2018 Mustang GT for this truck which is much safer for a 65 year old. Bad habits die hard.

Just over 3k on FX4. Getting 20mpg around town with the auto start/stop on. And I just came back from Vegas to LA averaging about 80mph, and I got 23mpg.:like: would been better if I was going the speed limit.

If I get better than 15.6 mpg around town (wife's F150) then I am doing great! The only other vehicles that get better mileage are my Goldwing's. My '96 Ranger is only driven when I don't ride (but I think it gets around 19 mpg). I ride most of the time

I just did 700 mile trip from PA to Ohio. The vehicle calculated an, average of 21.5 but my fuel to mileage math was 19.9. That's a big difference in true VS vehicle reading The TFL guys had a bigger discrepancy in their video recently too.

I have around 1800 miles on mine and getting around 15mpg with mostly city driving and not using auto start/stop... Its really annoying but figure the 3 inch lift is playing a part? Wouldn't think it would play that big a part though... Prior to the lift I was getting 20/21

I have a 2 inch level, 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers and a mild performance tune and I still get 20+mpg. I can beat the crap out of my truck and get 17mpg. My first oil change I switched to valvoline modern engine full synthetic (it's supposed to work well with turbos) and I saw an immediate improvement. I'd be pissed if my half tons got 15mpg yet alone my Ranger.
