I have been reading here about an access grommet on the left rear in the cab. How easy is this to get at? I am looking to run an antenna cable through it? Any tips, pointers etc.

Thank you

There's a cab vent behind the rear seat that I routed cables to outside if that's what you call an "access grommet"...you can fish a line through the rubber flaps to tie onto your cable and pull it inside...not too difficult...the vent is not visible but you can reach your hand into the trim cutout and feel where it is...or you can do it the hard way and pull the real wall trim...

How hard is it to route cables through there?

It wasn't too hard...it's not like opening a door and feeding a cable through easy...you'll have to feel for the vent hole, run fish line through then tie it to your cable then curse a bit...maybe a lot...

When I say fish line, I mean something like a 12 gauge wire...

I did read about a factory grommet when I was checking on a roll bar, supposed to route 3rd brake light wires through there ...

A little confusing on if there is a grommet on both sides or just the (Right) as these 2 diagram / pics give conflicting info a opened up pic for the left rear seat does not show a grommet that can be seen anyway.

The installation will not be as clean but I used the grommet under the drivers foot well due to the length of the cable I was running. It was very easy to get to and with the floor mats back in you can't tell there is anything run through there.
