I've noticed that before the Ranger was put into production, the pictures showed a driver side A pillar mounted handle. It's not there in the production model :(

Also, the SEMA XLT trucks have LED tail lights, I'm wondering if it's an easy swap ?

Weirdly the Tacoma doesn’t have a driver's side handle either.

Edit: Neither does the Colorado. Maybe it has to do with driver's visibility?
If no one else is implementing a handle on the drivers side it must play into a regulation of some kind.

Nissan Frontier has one if you absolutely must have a driver’s side handle LOL

Has anyone seen the back seat in the production model? Is the back seat a one piece bench or a 60/40 split?

Good interior photos are posted here. It’s a 1 piece bench in the SuperCrew.

I saw those thank you. I just didn't know if those were pre production vehicles. I spoke with a Ford Product expert at one of the local shows and she told me she has seen some pre productions with a bench and some with a 60/40 spilt. They kept you back about 5 feet from the Pre production show Ranger because there were still possible changes. But I'm pretty sure it gonna be a straight bench the more info they release.

The tail lights are horrendous, but it will do for now. They look bigger the the F150's. The F-150 LED tails are nice except for the small output reverse light.

most trucks don't have a driver door handle on the A pillar, because your hands should be on the steering wheel. And it's really not tall enough to worry about needing it to get in.

However, you could just probably order an A pillar molding and handle from a overseas truck and it would bolt right in.

The funny thing is that I was cruising the Tacoma owners forum the other day and they were saying how they wished the Ranger would have a driver's side grab handle so that it might force Toyota to finally include one as well.

Yes but they weren’t on the XLT or Lariat pre-production trucks I looked at. Hopefully it’s just an oversight, and they will make it to production trucks.

The picture I posted is from the Ranger configutor so looks like production Rangers will have the grab handle
