Plug a 110v appliance into your outlet. In my case, a plug in air freshener; though a night light would also work. The system detects that you're using 110v power and disables start/stop.

This site is so cool! My non-mechanical self would never have conceived of such a cheap work around for this PITA switch! Thank you Ranger Wizards!

Can you Explain how to hook this up? I have tow package, if that's needed?

I assume you're referring to the damper. YouTube has some install videos. Quite simple to do. I cleaned and sprayed the exposed surfaces of my bracket plates (masked the balls with masking tape) using black Rustoleum. Wanted to match the trucks color. Maybe tilt the bracket on the truck body ever so slightly rearward for the lanyard to tuck better. You'll see it in one of the videos.

Damn I want to know the secret to 23 MPG I am lucky to get 17 currently and I drive very reserved.

Looking into the start stop eliminator.

I don't about @EhrMike but for me it was flashing a custom tune. Multiple people are reporting significant mpg increases, myself included after flashing to custom tunes. I'm currently running the 87 Daily/Tow from 5 Star and it's in the same range as this.

Also the Auto start/stop eliminator is definitely a recommended mod. Installs in about 2-3 min and once set you don't have to mess with it again.

Both aren't necessary for the EU Ranger Raptors.
1) Auto engine off function can be switched off in the cars menu.
2) Tailgate is spring loaded and can be lifted with your little finger. That said if it is still functionel...

The Damper isn't about lifting. It's about slowly opening. If your spring loading slows it when it opens then you don't need this.

Spent less then $3 on a night light, plugged into the backseat plug, no more auto start. A HA

Spring tensions more when opening so the drop is also a lot less. It works with a torsion bar.
