I had a guy give what seemed like a rased fingers off the wheel wave this past weekend. By the time I realized what happened the chance to wave back was gone. I've never had a Jeep, or a motorcycle, so the wave isn't something that comes naturally. The Tacoma crowd, tried to get something together.. Jeep envy.. never caught on.

Maybe I catch the next guy... there really aren't many Ranger's in Nova Scotia.

I do the one or two finger raise and I imagine it can be hard to notice.

If I miss someone, it was likely that I was in the rear view making sure not too much stuff is falling off on the way to the dump! =D

when i drove a yj jeep a few folks would wave. the jeep wave and the stupid ducks kinda make me gag. it was cool before it was social media marketed. i see several heeps around town that have at least 20 of the ducks all on the dash but its clear the heeps never seen an unpaved mile.

on the texas back roads and ranch roads every guy in a pickup, tractor or other ag related machine does the rancher "wave". most of the older folks do as well. makes it real easy to spot the folks that "aint from round here"
Does that duck have a beak piercing or is it a grenade in disguise?

hoping for the latter

How could anything possibly fall off with the absurdly tall defective bed sides?

I always wave to other motorcyclists when riding my FZ6 but not to scooters. Those are not real motorcycles in my mind. LOL. No waving in the Ranger however.

Some people are totally unaware of what they’re driving
Even worse is some are totally unaware of how they are driving, it does pay to drive defensively.

A reason I'm not big on waves is lived in Denver area for 24 yrs and maybe in the last 5 of those yrs noticed an aggravating trend - esp among younger females drivers who will cut you off or do some less than courteous/unsafe moves and then they simply wave at you like that makes their rudeness completely acceptable.

My unspoken rule is if I see a Ranger in the parkin lot, Im going to park next to it.
If you come to my town and do that I'd have to move my Ranger, it doesn't care for company, esp if the Ranger is damper equipped.

There is more than a few Rangers around where I am. Never seen a wave or really watched for it.
As a motorcycle rider, I am use to the wave. But to be honest it becomes a pain and generally I only raise a few fingers from the grip, now. I also don't just ride up beside someone I do know or join with other riders on the road, not part of who I am riding with. Some people take the whole thing too far.

I want a damper sticker to proudly display on the back window! I like to park next to Taco's to show them what they are missing.

I understand having a dampered truck is totally a matter of choice, it's my buddy Mr. Boa that has an intense dislike of them, he posses great strength and doesn't seem to relate to weaker folks that need assistance with something as light as a Ranger tailgate, he after all is an apex predator.
