Thread reminds me of the Seinfeld episode iirc correctly jerry pulls along side someone he knows picking their nose, had a clowning bud who would fake having his finger up his nose if he pulled up along side someone doing that.

I get the same reaction here but I really don't mind. When I had my Jeep it was really annoying having every Jeep wave at you as you passed them. Seeing as there's a Jeep every 50' it got old quick.?

I'm starting to see a lot more Rangers here now so I got to thinking I should make up a sign that says "damper on board". Maybe more will wave to me.?

Just waive then lower your arm at a slow, controlled pace - almost like it's beyond your control.

This is really gross and disgusting but in the 80s worked at a place where above one urinal was a mass of boggers, it was commonly held that a dude named John Prunk was the culprit but no one ever caught him in the act. Oddly the wall was never cleaned so the deposits just accumulated. So maybe that ranger wave is just someone trying to clear their fingers, I try to keep an open mind with this stuff

OMG that is funny. I always stare at people I see doing the nose dig, sometimes honk to get their attention too. Next time I am definitely going to start digging myself while staring. I can't wait!!!!!

As for waving at Ranger owners, why just Rangers? Bikers wave at bikers, so all mid-size trucks should wave at each other. Or all PU trucks wave at all PU trucks. Or everyone wearing a baseball hat wave at each other? Or all drivers wave at all other drivers? Where does it end? Where????

Maybe that's what that wave is really all about, like displaying a trophy, look at the size of that one, my fellow Ranger drivers, right you are sometimes one needs to dig deeply.

When I ride I no longer wave, just too many bikers now.
With the BRZ, it's less & less waves to other BRZ/GT86, no waves at other Subaru's.
No one cares about waving to another Ranger around here.
