6 Cyl. Ecoboost?

Had a local guy parked next to me at the supermarket with a 2021 FX4 Crew. Asked him how he liked it and he said great. I said that they were surprising at how much torque that they had. He said he hauled horse trailers and that his 6 cyl. Ecoboost didn't have a problem with them at all. I said mine is a 4 cyl. He said his was 6 cyl. because it was a four wheel drive. I said "Well enjoy it" and we drove off.

I'm too stupid to let something like that go. I would have asked him to pop the hood so I could see his rare one of a kind engine install.

Technically he's right. I bet he had dual dampers which is the equivalent power of a ecoboost 2.7 v6.
