I had a CEL for the past 24 hours. Went to AutoZone to pull code and it came back as P02EF"cylinder 2 injector electrical circuit out of range"
Light no longer on after pulling code.
I guess I'll see if it comes back on before I call dealer but it looks related to the above posts about injector errors.

Googled the code and found some info and symptoms.

I'm at about 550 miles and my avg mpg is 17.4 (mixed driving) which seems pretty low.

This describes my situation. Luckily, this seems fairly straightforward to fix. On a bummer scale of one to ten, where one is missing the last encore at the Eagles concert, and ten is getting a aggressive form of pancreatic cancer diagnosis, this is a three.

well good luck to you :) I'm still 'patiently' waiting the part to be installed. They said they expect it tomorrow, but we'll see.

The CEL came on the day I drove it home (about 50 miles). I stopped at a friend's business to show the truck to someone and I parked on a side slant in the parking lot. When I took off the check engine light was on. When I got home, I shut the truck off for a while then needed to run an errand. When I started it up again the CEL was off and has stayed off ever since (about 1200 miles). Have no idea if parking in that spot (probably about a 30 degree angle) caused it but can't figure out what else it could have been. At least I hope that's what it was.

Hopefully they get it fixed for you. My CEL hasn't came back on yet, but I don't feel out of the clear just yet. Anyhow good luck on the repair.

My check engine light came on at 420 miles. I have had the low mileage shudder which felt like a clogged injector or dirty fuel filter. I have an appointment in the morning with a dealership. Bummed, but not totally upset at this point.
Dealer technician cleared the code, but noticed the hesitation which is substantial. They put in a call to Ford Corporate. I’m guessing the above discussed fuel injector issue and repair will be the end game. My truck was with me for five days before going to the shop and it doesn’t look like it is going to be coming home soon. If you love something let free. The last time I had this short of a romance was in the 5th grade with Judy Calicio.

A guy on the Ford blog said this issue is popping up on services boards and he thinks Ford will be issuing a fix soon.

Has anybody had the fix done yet? My truck will most likely spend the weekend at the dealership.

Any word yet on your repair? My technician is still waiting on Ford Corporate to get back to them.

Mine somehow just magically fixed itself, but of course it could come back at any moment. It appears that all of us with the CEL coming on are getting an injector error throwing a code. I didn't have any issues with the vehicle performance however. It seemed to be running just fine even with the light. It'll be interesting to see what happens with every one that needs service with this. Definitely something is up since we are all getting similar codes.

How's your MPG? My CEL was only lit for about 24 hours. But my MPG is at 17.4 with 560 on the odometer. That's pretty lousy

So they had to correct what they told me. Ford didn't ask them to do the ECM first, they asked them to do the injector (#4) first.
Today I spoke to them and found out the part(s) they need are on back-order. But, they are actively searching neighboring dealers to see if anyone has one.

At this rate, it'll be another week before I get an update as I'll be out of town and I highly doubt they will get the part in tomorrow.

Soon as I know more, I'll drop a note! Good luck!

I haven't had a CEL since that first tank of gas that my Ranger was delivered with. I'm a little over 600 miles now and at 3/4 tank on my second fuel up. I'm starting to think these trucks are finicky with the fuel that goes into them.

I haven't even looked. I've just been driving to work this past week which is 4 miles down the hill and 4 miles back up the hill. I'll take a look.
