I haven't tried using the Detailer spray while wet. I always just dry with a drying towel then apply the spray after and that method has worked out the best. With the 303 you're supposed to use little product so I'm guess while wet it's harder to tell how much you're actually using and also you're moving it around more while it's wet and it's clumping up in areas causing it to streak.I think I may take back my recommendation for using the detailing spray as a lubricant when drying the car. The other day when I was using it on my GF's darker car it was streaking a lot, something that is a bit harder to notice on my truck. Once her car was dry I just when over it again with the detailing spray and it came out just fine, but it was additional work.
Just curious what everyone else is using for a lubricant when drying? I don't want to put another layer of a different product between the 303 and the 303 detailer.
These work really good for drying. I ended up cutting mine in half because it's to big and absorbed a lot of water and was a pain to use. I had my girlfriend sew the ends and now it's much easier.
