Fuel economy would be the main reason for offering a diesel package (reported MPG is >40) almost double the 2.3 ecoboost, but one would have to evaluate the incremental cost of the diesel package against the life time fuel differential (gas vs diesel).

HP is close to what the stock 2.3 Ecoboost is putting out, with the torque far exceeding its gas counterpart.

I agree with your analysis in towing, nothing worst than the tail wagging the dog, while advertised capable, I am not sure I would want to be rolling down the highway with a large trailer behind the Ranger.

You can tune the 2.3EB and with 93 TQ goes up alot

Quick update - we received a couple of VINs this past week for retail orders. These were placed in December and are scheduled to be built in March, delivered to the store in Early April. That puts it at just about a 120 day wait for those interested in placing orders.

I know where I’ll be ordering my next Ranger! My local dealers are leaches! The one I bought my 2020 Lariat at wanted $1500 over sticker for a 2022 Tremor. (I paid 8k under sticker in Jan. 2021 when I bought it new)

No, you get incentives at time of order or delivery. Whichever is greater.

I understand. I ordered my Super Cab 09/01/20, and it took three months then. Looks like 4 months is the going time now.

That's a great question. We received more allocation for this coming month, which leads me to believe they'll need to schedule the old ones or have faith they will.

For those that ordered through Granger, did your quote prior to ordering reflect the 3% off invoice? I asked about Explorer and was told they offer the same deal but the quote I received today was straight MSRP. Just curious if they send an updated quote or if the sales person who sent it wasn't honoring the 3% off invoice.

When I ordered my Jeep the quote had the msrp, invoice price and the 4% off price at the bottom.

So you saw it once you placed the order but not in the quote they sent before? What I was sent was a link to the Ford B&P page with MSRP being the only price shown.

Did you send them the pdf of your build yet? I sent them the pdf from the B&P then they send me the quote linked above. I knew the prices before placing my order.

Any updates on any more Ranger orders getting scheduled? I was a little late to the party, but I've got my SuperCab order placed with your dealership on 2/28 (and confirmed same day by Ford).
