As a Tremor owner - don’t forget the polysporin mod. The texture on the steps is nice, but they’ll cut ya!

Good looking truck!
Isn’t there a MasterClass video on how to use the Tremor steps properly?

@kendive - welcome man! That's a freaking gorgeous Tremor. Hope you end up enjoying both the forum and the size change from the 150. Personally, I think the Ranger is in a sweet-spot for utility and livability.

Yes I agree 100%... I just have to get adjusted but I'm digging it so far. Going to get Line-X spayed in soon.

No, no video. I’m trying to spread the word. Tremor steps are like owning a pet alligator. Complacency will result in blood loss. But even with the best care and attention, you are ALWAYS at risk.

I don’t have any chunks of skin taken out or anything like that, but what does it say about me that I keep bruising the shit out of myself and keep rubbing it on that sandpaper, so I still haven’t adjusted.

I’m thinking one day, I’ll get the memo, “go around to the other side, if you lean over, you’re going to rub your damn shin and it’s going to take off the skin and, make you look like a child!l”

I think I can be successful this time. It’s almost felt therapeutic, and like a support group… I’m ready to heal and stay healed!

I mean I love the tremor sidesteps. They’re one of my favorites I’ve ever had… With a disclaimer.
- Great for looks
- Great for keeping most of the truck as high as possible
- Don’t have to worry about slipping and falling down in a mud puddle
- Can be removed and it looks like a pretty awesome rocker protector

So now, if I can just keep away from the useful but dangerous grip!

It’s actually really cool because my spray in bedliner pretty much matches it perfectly in a visual sense. It just doesn’t give the beat down. Maybe that would’ve been a better material… Something in the middle on the grip side for those side steps.

Oh well. I’m feeling good about it now. Lol.

Welcome Ken and that sure is a sweet looking Tremor. I like it a lot. I would replace those footrests. OUCH I would have lots of problems with those. Bloody shin bones. No thanks.

I couldn't wait to get those stupid running boards off mine. I think the truck looks a lot better without them.

I can’t disagree, it looks really sweet with the steps (hoop steps?) removed. Get a really sweet guard on the side…

These steps are pretty great because they keep the truck looking like it has a lot of ground clearance and your attention stays high.

The tremor is a win-win minus the beat down shins.

But seriously, it’s very effective and will get you up in the truck and those who are shorter or older, but if you take that off, it’s sweet!

I’m leaving them for now because I have the 2 inch tremor lift along with 33 1250s at the minimum… Someone with the blue truck has those and they look incredible. I just need to see what is the height for other people. I have no problem jumping in or looking like a fool. I feel bad with passengers… And I’m certainly not going to do that to my wife, although she loves lifted trucks ❤❤!!
