My 2022 Tremor is currently at the dealer for vibration issues. 7100 miles on it. It was built in February and axle serial number is 22039 so two below the suspect range. They had their NVH on it yesterday and are saying tires. They are going to check balance this morning. I or they haven’t brought up the SSM yet. Mine was really smooth up until about a 5000 miles. Rotated at 5400 and it seems to be getting more prevalent. We’ll see what they say today.
My axle serial number is 22040 so 1 above yours and one below the range. I take it ours should be good lol? Have you noticed any issues recently with this. I don’t have the vibration/boom above 50 but do notice some minor vibrations at lower speeds. Hey speeds the truck runs smooth. Could be the tires that I am feeling at lower speeds on less that perfect roads.

After tire issue was resolved it’s been just fine.

Glad to hear. I’m not very impressed with the stock Dueller ATs on this truck so tires may be my next upgrade.
My Tremor has the General Grabber ATX’s and except for the bad one they’ve been doing fine. So is yours a FX4?

My tremor is finally in a the dealer for a list of stuff that was wrong since new. Only 2000 miles on it. The main issue being the vibration and droning like the initial post said. So we’ll see what they find. Won’t be the tires.

Interesting. When was yours built? Just curious because of the front axle issue they had earlier in 2022

I would think they are onto something, mine drones rather consistently but as mentioned before, thought this was the “engineered design” of the vehicle.

If this thing gets so loud you cannot have a conversation with your passenger or kids in the back seat, and I mean 90+dB like something is wrong, I will take it in to the dealer.

Right now my drone is around 70-75dB and you can still talk over it, so I don’t want to make things worse by trying to fix what ain’t broke.

It shouldn’t drone. They have a tsb out for the front diff on 22s. Ford is actually buying mine back.

Either of you gets this fixed? Noticed mine droning at 53-60 mph today when I had the radio down. Mines a 22. Never paid it much attention until today when the inside of the cab was quiet. I say there was a TSB for the front axle out of balance. My front axle falls 1 number out of their tsb.

Mine was a tire on front axle. Had dealer do their vibration diagnostics and they pinpointed it to tires. A little more help from Discount Tire with a RoadForce balance and found exact tire. Ford replaced the tire under warranty and no problems since. I understand the front axle TSB issue is very obvious and semi violent in nature. Have you had a dealer do a proper vibration diagnostic yet?

Mine was from the diff. Dealer has had my truck since January 1st. Supposedly it’s fixed but they have no date on completion on the rest of my issues. So ford is doing a buy back.

I just scheduled an appointment in early March. So the front axle being unbalanced is really rough? Mine is a harmonic droning at around 53-60 mph. Sounds fairly deep almost like wind hitting a window except it’s felt kinda like waves hitting your ears best way I can describe it. Definitely it the wind though. Maybe it’s the front differential or something. I just read that bulletin from for and my axle number is one below their affect range so figured it was that. Anyway hoping they’ll give me a rental ca me since the want to have the truck for 48-72 hours.

Sorry to hear that. Yeah I scheduled my appointment for early march. I asked them to look at the droning and the transmission shifts when cold or in sport/tow. Figured I may as well have the dealership look at this stuff.
