Order books are set to open September 14th and Job 1 on December 7th. The 2021, and likely the 2022 Ranger look like they will soldier on with minor tweaks and option shuffling.
The next all new (or mostly new Ranger; "massaged" T6 platform) is set for a global launch toward the end of 2022 as a 2023 model year pickup. Ford authority is reporting new engines will be available for the '23. For the US, probably the 2.7L like the Bronco and maybe a PHEV.
And some VW engines? The next VW Amorok will be Ford based, like the Mazda B series pickups were.

Looks like my last lingering worry is settled--I was hoping that we wouldn't get stuck with a low run orphan, and it looks like we'll probably end up with well over 300k of this generation in the US, which should go a long way toward making it easy to keep these on the road.
