2019 Ranger
Cleanup Scheduling
- Balance to go SIMS orders have been created for Edge, Fiesta, and Ranger using commodities still available for Week 14.
- Please note the following regional control has been lifted on Ranger: Ranger Optional Adaptive Cruise (52C; Included in Technology Package (67J); Optional on XLT 301A & 302A & Lariat 500A).
This is a lot longer than what I thought it would be. That gives them about 50 calendar weeks of Ranger production for MY 2019.The original post has been updated to reflect the changes in the 2019 MY Ranger production schedule.
- August 2, 2019 - 2019 Ranger Final Fleet Order Due Date
- August 22, 2019 - 2019 Ranger Last Day to Spec Change/Cancel
- November 15, 2019 - 2019 Ranger Balance Out Date (The end of model year date for a specific vehicle line or plant)
Something changed. As of December of last year the '19 model year was supposed to have ended in June. Then around January all the scheduling information went to TBD and now it's extended. This is a lot longer than what I thought it would be. Yeah, that's what I understood as well. That must bode well for sales.Something changed. As of December of last year the '19 model year was supposed to have ended in June. Then around January all the scheduling information went to TBD and now it's extended.

I do not believe that will affect you at all. That post is referring to scheduling of new vehicles, not vehicles already scheduled (like yours).I have a Lariat Super Cab 4x2 on order since Sept 21st. On the Ford tracking website it indicates "In Production, March 4, 2019". What does this mean in relation to a recent previous posting "Cleanup Scheduling" ...

I am getting very anxious waiting. Any explanation for what that terminology means would be much appreciated.

Thanks, I was confused, and now this makes sense. I called my Ford sales guy today (3/22) and he said they are still taking orders for 2019s. Heading in Monday morning, since no inventory within 100 miles meets the configuration I want on a Hot Pepper Red (or Saber) w/Medium Stone, Lariat SuperCrew. The original post has been updated to reflect the changes in the 2019 MY Ranger production schedule.

The dealer guy I spoke said he believes the 2020's will be exactly the same. Considering all the dealers by me still have their lots full of F150's (popular here) and just a handful of Rangers I might suspect Ford is trying to get more 2019's built and out to wholesale before taking orders for the 2020's. Maybe some new minor options for 2020, but my guess is the 2020's are 2019's with all the bugs ironed out.Do you guys think there will be any changes at all for MY 2020?
"robots" is literally why Toyota uses less of them. Odd but true. Finally a legitimate reason to blame the robots.
