2019 Audio issue (turning on and off)

Last night I had something odd starting to happen with my 2019 Ranger.

It appears the radio runs on and off repeatedly. I did a system reset and no change. Has anyone had or heard of this issue? I have had an issue with my phones media only connecting half the time before this issue started.

See if you can pull any codes as this can be a number of things.
Is your Sync Vs Current - 23188 - prior versions are problematic

Are you getting - System Off to Save Battery (power) (Msg)?

What exactly is powering off (radio/media only) or the whole screen?
Is the FCIM (Button-Panel) staying powered?

B and O system? I had to unplug the amp and let it sit for a few minutes to fix this on my 2019.

Are you getting - System Off to Save Battery (power) (Msg)?

What exactly is powering off (radio/media only) or the whole screen?
Is the FCIM (Button-Panel) staying powered?

Can't pull codes but no System Off to save battery or any other message anywhere I can see.

Only thing that turns off is the Audio/Media. I haven't checked if the phone stays connected/usable for calls. I disconnected and removed my phone with the master reset and haven't re added it yet.

Yup I have unplugged the amp (well the top 2 black cables the bottom blue I just couldn't get my hand in.

If I remember right the blue one was the big one? Unplug it also.

Looks like that may be it. I tried it without it plugged in it didn't turn off/on when I turned it on. When I plugged it all back in it worked without issues. I will put it through more paces tomorrow. Odd fix but I'll take it, Thank you.

Now if I can just get my media to connect more than half the time.

Might reoccur every year or so. Just repeat.

Sync 3, Software version: 3.3
Build 18295_Product

Wow! That version is the original that came with the truck. Get it updated to 3.4 build 21388. It may take awhile, if I member it takes a reformat to get from 3.3 to 3.4.

B&O Amp (DSP) Connectors

The Big - 20 Cavity Connector = Speaker Outputs & Can Bus Communication
The 8 Cavity Connector = Power / Ground + Amp Turn On
The 5 Cavity Connector = A2B Data from the ACM (So digital music signal data input to the AMP)

The media issues will most likely be corrected when the very out of date (Sync) is updated to the current version.
