I say if you want to do it then do it. Find a wrecked f150 with a 2.7 and go for it. When mine is paid off I might swap the coyote in there.

They are still going strong down in Houston. As far as Diesels go here there is nothing for particulate emissions so they can dump as much soot as they want.
Saw a truck that probably never gets on a gravel road rolling on a Nissan leaf yesterday on the west side of town. You are not wrong.

I had a coyote in my 19 f150 because I thought na would be more reliable. It was an ok motor with gobs of torque and hp, but it also like to backfire everytime it was started when cold, oh and it guzzled fuel. Had an incident occur that ended in a creek, got it ba k from body shop, had whole new intake installed, then traded it off for more than it was worth and got my ranger. Not sure if the backfire was ever fixed or not.
Long story short I'll stick to my factory inline 4. ?

I'd say yes, but I'm not sure I'd want to as it's a complicated motor with all of the accessory wiring and piping.

They're Coyote swapping these things in Australia! I'd rather go that route!
