I wouldn't waste a powerful engine in the Ranger unless I had a better IRS rear end with a limited slip that could put the power down. The Maverick with AWD is actually a better platform for that stuff.

I believe the 351 W is real close to the weight of a small block Chev. The 351 C I know is a heavier engine. Not sure by how much tho.

I like how the maverick guys are shoving the 2.3 ecoboost into those trucks now, and I saw on IG the other day (I cant find the post now) of some guy who had transmogrified the drivetrain and interior of a Cadillac CTS-V with the body of a 40's Buick. It was pretty sweet.

Happen to have any pictures of this machine?
Interesting, the 2.3 Ecoboost Mustang guys use the 2.0 Ecoboost block as the starting point for a high HP 2.3. The 2.3 rotating assembly drops right into the 2.0 block and the 2.0 block is significantly stronger than the 2.3 block.

This 50 Ford is a body swap onto a mid 2000s Mustang. The interior an drive train are stock Mustang.
