I got stuck in a nasty muddy ditch when trying to help someone else out of that ditch. I had to get winched out. I'm now stuck in 4 low, in addition to ABS light on and warnings from the AdvanceTrac system. I'm not able to take a look at anything until morning, but any things I should try first? Getting the transfer case to shift is my biggest concern.

I'd start with checking any fuses for the 4WD system, then I'd look to see if all the electronic plugs at the trans and transfer case are all snug and clean. After being in the mud and having to be winched out, something could have come loose or disconnected. Just spit-ballin'...

you have to be in neutral for the TC to shift back to high....I think. But I'd plug in the forscan and reset the ABS and transfer case module

Good news - after sitting overnight and drying out everything is back to normal!
You should still look for connectors or other stuff that may have been knocked out of place from winching. SOunds like what ever it was\is could come back at an inopportune time.

Good plan. Plus, I'll be taking it in for scheduled service soon. I'd like to make sure things aren't out of whack before that, but I would hope if I miss anything they'll be good enough to point it out. And I suppose I should clean it up before the dealer techs have to dig in to it!

+1 .... Along with cleaning the underside real well first. A connector with mud in it might dry but still have dirt in it. Next rain storm, water kicks up the and makes mud again. Used to happen to me on the Wrangler all the time. Finally decided the off road mud bog thing was for younger folks that are comfy getting under the truck. With two fake knees, a fake shoulder and a bunch of bulging discs in the back, that ain't me. Footsball was not good to me, not to mention the 20 years in Navy engine rooms on steel decks.

Wheel abs sensors are notorious for messing up 4 wheel drive. Spray them off (power wash), mud and ice and let it dry out and most issues disappear
