True. We don't tip normally. Employer pays decent salary for the staff and that's it.

If you do something special which warrants a tip, you'll still going to get one. But for normal work which is expected, you'll only get your salary.

Much simpler for everyone.

Makes too much sense. Would love to see this system over here in North America.

For real, my company starts new employees at $18 an hour. Now when you fill out an application you also get a math test. We do a lot of measuring and decimals are important so you need to know basic math to do the job.

I kid you not, it’s pretty sad what I see. Out of 10 that apply 9 fail the test. Seriously messed up. If they ever do make it to a second interview they can’t even put a decent sentence together.

The college educated ones are a real spin. I don’t know what you learned in higher education but it’s useless to me.

We were discussing this with senior management. So guys, what’s the plan when we all retire in a few years?

So, I go to lunch today... Order my food. The attendant asks me my name, I tell her "Jim".

I get the receipt and it says my name. I'm curious so I look in my old paperwork only to find out that my real full name is "Gymnasium".

Looks like I've been spelling it wrong for 64 years.

Who knew?!!

The unfortunate and unexpected results of EEOC, Civil Rights, Fair Housing, Hart-Cellar, etc. Instead of bringing the 'underprivileged'(?) up to the level of the 'majority', these program 'abominations' did the exact opposite.

For a number of years now, the 'majority' is being deliberately and actively replaced with the 'underprivileged'. Most recently, outright extermination of the majority is being attempted with bogus 'vaccines'. Next could be world war, mass starvation, mass civil unrest, etc. to achieve the well stated goal of 'massive population reduction' down to a 'manageable level'. Manageable for whom?

My final three employers were literally 'rat traps'. Once respectable, well paying jobs requiring knowledge, skill and perseverance. Little turnover. Now, reduced into race-sexual orientation-'impossible equality' non sense that retains and promotes the worst possible people in order to keep the so-called 'diversity-inclusion' goals. Needless to say, pay-benefits-working conditions-competent employee retention goals collapsed.

I retired on full medical disability 6 years early - never would have made it to my prescribed retirement age - many haven't. Many left with numerous health issues or just plain dropped dead on the job. Many of those who left were 'afraid to rock the boat' and have nothing as a result. I went the legal route and made out well enough.

Don't allow yourselves to be badly used and thrown away like refuse on the side of the road.

friends, i will not say what i do for a living. stating the job title would invite unwelcome comments and politics. however, i will say if most of yall knew the full extent of what kids are learning and are not learning you would throw a fit. upwards sports has become the model for learning. traditional knowledge has almost nothing to do with it anymore. it is pay to play now. some of you that have children under 35, ask them a few questions about things that you know and hold as correct or dear. the answers given by the younger generations may surprise you. soap box put away :lipssealed:

yes maybe funny cute or creative, but folks used to know that work was about working. besides, a better way would have been Gem.

This is the most ridiculous comment I think I've ever seen.
DM me as I don’t want to get banned! I can show you a report that is from one of the manufacturers that has 8 pages of adverse effects. That’s what they know of right now…

How do we know that is wrong? Post a pic of two pieces of government-issues photo ID. And the card you paid with, as sometimes the computer can pull your name from that. Front and back of the card please - so we can match the signatures.
