I'm not familiar with your state's lemon laws and if your truck qualifies, but do wonder why Ford hasn't simply replaced your engine. That would definitely be cheaper than replacing the entire vehicle.
I use 93 octane ethanol-free gas. I think it runs better and if I think it runs better, it's worth the extra quarter or so a gallon. To each his/her own.
I was checking for my ESN number to do the update on my 2020 and in looking for it, I noticed that an automatic update was done yesterday while I was driving. Automatic updates is turned on. Is this referring to a Sync update, navigation or both?
I like power sliding windows, but the one in the Ranger is really useless. I was referring to a rear door window in the post. Opening one will help with the noise and the wind.
You have my sympathies concerning your problems. I went through basically the same thing with a 2016 Canyon, but with one big exception. The truck only had 23,000 miles on it, but was almost four years old! I went to three dealerships and they all were very sympathetic, but GM wouldn't budge...
I agree that the back window needs to be pier, but opening a back door window will most likely work with the sunroof open. The noise level and wind go down significantly.
I've had sunroofs in every car I've owned except for three; they were/are convertibles. I like the extra light and the option of either having it open or closed. None have leaked.
