I'm not familiar with your state's lemon laws and if your truck qualifies, but do wonder why Ford hasn't simply replaced your engine. That would definitely be cheaper than replacing the entire vehicle.

The dealer has told me that the 2.3L for the Ranger is not available as a replacement.I'm not familiar with your state's lemon laws and if your truck qualifies, but do wonder why Ford hasn't simply replaced your engine. That would definitely be cheaper than replacing the entire vehicle.
Well, the dealer is 20+ miles away from my home and 42+ miles away from where I work. Can't go there everyday, but I do call them quite a bit.I would be walking in the dealers ass every day, make them as miserable as this had made you. As my dad once said " i can make you a hell of alot more uncomfortable than you can make me". This is your fight, you got screwed, make them make it right. " hell a lawyer would probably take the case jut to get to bill Ford for their f*ck up........... just my two cents. good luck !
Well, make them put a 2.7 in.The dealer has told me that the 2.3L for the Ranger is not available as a replacement.
A coyote motor would make up for all those past issues.Well, make them put a 2.7 in.
You're opening up a whole other can-o-worms here, especially if the Neighborhood Damper Committee finds out (@AzScorpion )?Have you tried putting a tailgate damper on it yet? j/k
I have to say you have been very patient throughout all this and I hope they fix this situation to your satisfaction. Good Luck with it.
