I realize that this isn't that cold, by true northern winter standards - it's -20°F in my hometown of Quebec but I'd love to see extreme cold start pics.

0°F with the Start-X and no hesitation at all. And check out my normally inflated 35 psi tires!

We had that blast last weekend but luckily it was only for a couple of days.
This is the first real cold blast to hit them. It's actually been a mild winter there with hardly any snow but I remember having many days/weeks like this when I lived back there. After getting use to living out here I could never go back to that.

We were at -22* a couple hours ago. This is now. Feel the warmth already. Winds have been whipping. Weathermen showed -46 with windchill...
? Man, we only got to -19°C/-2°F here in Toronto - it’s like it missed us. Try and stay warm over there in VT.?

ive never seen it in person but read some equipment manuals a few years ago for military trucks and gensets used in very cold places. growing up in the dfw area learning that some places were so cold engines had to run 24/7 otherwise freeze up solid shocked my lil brain lol?. things like doing oil changes, "exchanges" rather- with the diesels running seemed like sci fi to me ?. about the most engine trouble i knew of cold related until then was slow starting farm tractors that had to stayed plugged in to heat and then nursed to life and then babied to a steady idle. had a neighbor with one of the old gm converted from gas to diesel engines. watching him try to get it running in winter was always entertaining

-15f here, cold.
Heard a story that one winter US & Canadian army had a winter war game. Canadian's won cuz US shut the engines, Canadians did not & were mobile. A little weird as anyone living in Alaska would know better. Unless it was a southern group sent for winter training?
