This pic is what the dealer sent me of my build, they wanted me to pick it up today (Friday, Jan. 17) as 5 people (including a mechanic there) have inquired about it.
She's coming home tomorrow...

Very nice color choice. You retired firemen love your red cars, huh? I totally get it. I'm a retired cop and still like to drive a "black and white". Congrats. That is a beautiful truck. Good luck with it.

Well friend, I see that you took the plunge for a 'full dresser'! I had to add all the stuff to mine that yours already has. So, you can start enjoying it right away. Mine sat in the garage for a month while I tweaked it. Great looking truck and enjoy the ride!

I've several items waiting for her as she makes her debut, so to speak.
For what it is worth, I was waiting in traffic today and noticed that ALL sedans and SUV'S almost all look the same.
Time was when I could identify a Ford Galaxie from a Chevy Impala, Olds 88, Plymouth Fury, or even a Caddy DeVille from all the rest. Did I forget Rambler Ambassadors?
At least the Ranger is somewhat unique in a sea of cookie-cutter vehicles...

Congratulations on finally getting your truck. I know it's been a long wait for you, but sure looks like it'll be worth it! Now, if they would only get mine built!

Will do, with my last new vehicle purchase from them (an '86 F-150) they gave me a voucher for a gas station just down the road from them.
I believe the voucher was for $25.00 which hardly filled 1 of the 2 tanks that beast had.

Will do. By the way, I really envy you getting to live in Hawaii. That used to be one of my regular destinations and when I would first begin to see the islands come into sight, my heart always jumped for joy at the beauty!

Indeed, the color is, well, vivid...reminiscent of Candy Apple Red so popular in the 50's and 60's.
It will be just the second vehicle I've ever owned in red, and the very first 4 cylinder Ford as well.

Congratulations on the delivery and purchase of such a fine looking vehicle. FWIW, you and I ordered our 2020 Rangers the same day (August 20, 2019). I picked mine up December 20. I’m not telling you this to rub it in, but rather to make it clear how glad I am that you finally received yours. I hope your ownership experience goes as well as mine has so far.

No offense taken at all Curt, I knew for a fact that I would be the last one to take delivery of the first 10 or so members on the list.
Indeed, it is because of members like you that have made my membership to this forum truly rewarding. Thanks to all for putting up with my incessant questions about the entire ordering process.
I'll know in 5 hours or so if the wait was worth it when I see it in "the flesh", from what I am seeing so far I think it was...
