So today my son offered to take the stuff in my truck to goodwill and then my wife chimed in that she hasn't even driven my truck yet. So I was wondering how long it has taken people to allow others to drive their Ranger. And so far I'm the only drive - my son decided to take his car instead.

The ONLY TIME I'd let someone drive my truck is if it were an emergency and I couldn't drive it.

I asked my wife if she wanted to drive it once and she said no thanks. She knows how I feel about my truck and completely respects it and me. She's really good about that and is always looking for accessories for it. She always says... "You work hard, you should get what you want". She's a hot $hit! Also a very sweet and kind person to everyone. I got lucky.

Well about 3 weeks after I got my truck my gf and I went out and I decided to drink an abnormally high number of beers so I guess that puts me in the less than a month category.:LOL:

As OCD as I am I really don't mind if someone wants to drive my Ranger (within reason). My gf wants to drive it but just hasn't got around to it yet. I think she's afraid because she knows how I am with it. :inlove:

With all my friend we have this unwritten rule that if you break it you own it,this applies to anything. One day my buddy needed to borrow my extra motorcycle hemet and no sooner when he walked away he ended up dropping it. He just looked at me and said "how much".

I made my wife drive it to show how easy it was in case she needed to for some reason. She was surprised how easy it was.

100% didn't tell her about sport mode because she has a lead foot equivalent to mine!:inlove:

We only drink a few times a year and I have no self control lol. Having a commercial driver's license I can't risk ever getting pulled over yet alone get stopped for drinking. Soooo, she always drives my trucks home when I drink. I'm about due for a night out "adulting" so it should be any day now lol. Got the truck at the end of November last year.

My wife drove my truck before I did. Its just a truck and she is a great driver.
My wife has driven a Ranger - just not mine. When I decided to go with a 4x2 - (basically an even swap for my jeep) the salesperson grabbed the keys for a different ranger - I drove that to the house and let my son and wife drove that one and both liked it. So they have never driven my truck yet.

The biggest reason they really haven't driven is the reason why I'm driving the Ranger. We have 3 drivers in the house with 3 cars and with a manual jeep we were playing car roulette without memory seats. Now we each driver our own car with our seats just the way we like them.

I guess I’m the only one that allowed it right away... I brought it home and my wife took it for a rip around town. The next morning my Dad drove it, I offered it to my mom but she just wanted a ride in it. That afternoon my mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law all drove it. That’s been it though, just my wife and I since.
