Suggestion.... I'd put it into a good mutual fund like SPY or QQQ and let it grow over the years. Then you'll have more than enough for a few vehicle along with extra growth for retirement.

Oh I agree. I was just saying instead of paying yourself (adding it to a low interest savings account) I'd put those payments into a Mutual Fund where you'll get more growth over the years. Then take the money out for the new vehicle and you should still have a lot more in there to grow.

or

Take the low financing (sub 3%) and make more in your MF and use the gains to pay it off monthly. I hate loans and haven't had one in years but I always use "free" money when it makes sense.

Sadly most vehicles made today are not meant to last long as we've seen by the many videos posted here.

Thanks for reminding me Ed @Fordup. I need take my truck to the car wash and give it a bath after driving to the river earlier in the week.

I stopped by the car wash and gave it a bath on the way to Dads house.

Considering the fact that I live on a dusty, dirty gravel road. This is as good as it gets, but a lot better than it was when I first joined here.

When I bought my '19, I was in a position to pay cash for it. However, I ran the numbers and realized a loan was a better option at that time especially so because I got 0% from Ford. I took the cash and invested in CDs and made a fair amount of Interest on the money. Did the same thing when I bought my '22 Bronco Sport. The interest rate was 2.25% and I've made way more in interest on the money than I paid on the loan. Plus, having the loans keeps my credit score high. So, I feel this has been the best strategy for me to take advantage of the high savings interest rates that were available at the time.

Super smart on your part IMO. We do the same thing.
Even if you are able to pay cash, if your money can make more in a safe high interest savings account or CD, then doing a loan is smart.
It’s a great position to be in to have the dealership look for rates and if they can’t beat what you are making in interest, just write a check and the credit score you talk about is a real thing once you have everything paid off.

After 2+ years of having the BP51, I adjusted the compression and rebound for the first time. I pull both to their lowest setting on all 4 corners and…now I’m questioning all my life choices. She rides so good now. All the harshness from the front end is gone. I probably need to bring the rebound up a tad up front as I do have a little bounce now but the truck rides smooth over bumps it used to rearrange my kidneys on.

Hoping this link is correct for anyone that wants to check out a Glove Compartment Organizer.
I have been wanting one since my latest Ranger was parked in my carport. Haven't seen one listed that said 2019-2023, so after trying to come up with something that didn't look like it belonged on Jeb Clampet's vehicle, I decided to try this one from Amazon. It says 2023-2026 or something like that, but Amazon is very easy to return to so I took a chance. It came today, and after getting my Structural Engineering degree to assemble it I was quite pleased with the outcome. Now I have a two level glove compartment. It sells for about $24.61 including my Florida state tax.

Well, got mine and went through the grueling assembly process and installation. Awesome! Thanks for the suggestion. Makes finding thinks in there easy. Usually what I want has vibrated to the bottom right and now it can't.
