Holy cow has this thread gotten off course! My apologies.

Everyone can stand down for a bit now. Surgeon has me scheduled for April 16 for a reverse shoulder surgery on my right shoulder. You can YouTube it...they cut the ball and socket off and replace them with prosthetic ball and socket on the opposite side of where God put them. It's outpatient, and I should be ok barring any weirdness with my body. I am a type 2 diabetic and that seems to cause me to injure quickly and heal slowly, so that will be interesting to navigate. Doc says for me to expect to be out of work 10 weeks unless I do really well healing and with getting strength and range of motion back.

So that's where we are at for now..

So!
What did y'all get in the mail for your Ranger today? 😊

Thanks for caring. I appreciate you all!
Just think, soon you'll be the bionic man.

From a fellow Ranger5G member, a Tremor grille...

I thought a while ago, some one or a R5G vender had alternative color nostrils available... I can't seem to find that info... Anyone know if they are or I'm just hallucinating?? (or at my age a TIA)

Received part of my gift from @3Wliners from the giveaway they had a few weeks ago. They didn't have the floor liners that fit my Ranger so they sent me this cooler which is really nice! It's good size, very thick, has a couple of side pockets and spots to clip things on like flashlights and carabiners. It also has a waterproof removable liner which is nice so you can take it out and clean it easily. There's a valve inside which you turn counterclockwise and it automatically inflates then you close the valve. After use you just open the valve and press on it to deflate, close the valve and it stores nice and flat and will fit perfect behind the rear seats. Thanks again for those who liked my posts and helped me win and thanks for @3Wliners for their sponsorship here on the forum! šŸ™

Just received my Bulletpoint Dash Mounting gear. Very high quality gear. I hope their customer service as good as manufacturing. They seem to have left out one of my carbon fiber mount rodsā€¦ā˜¹

I love battery jump packs, what great tools. Some of you know I use one to work on the old FJ40 Land Cruiser and, to me, they seem impressive.

Last week my daughter's car died at the gas station - it was wicked pissah cold and she'd only driven it a mile to get to the gas station.

I drove up with my jump pack as well as Kate's. But neither had been recharged in a year or so. And they sit out in the car and truck at temps down to 0° this winter.

I connected one to her car and asked her to crank on it when I did and, vroom vroom, her car started. It was connected for one second!

So not for Soupie, I got a little plastic boat this past summer and even though I have two tow insurances (SeaTow and TowBoatU.S. because it's not like Miami where each company has a a few dozen boats - there's one SeaTow boat in Elliot Maine (4 miles up river from where I launch for the Atlantic and one TowBoatU.S. boat in Newburyport, 14 miles away).

Both will do jump starts (something like 30% of their service calls) but I figured I'd get a jump pack for the boat. But since the boat is so tiny, I wanted a decent one but very compact too.

$99 https://myweego.com/products/weego-44s

It's about 5.6″ x 3.4″ x 1″ and weighs 11 ounces, so pretty friggin' compact. Plenty big for a 30 horsepower, 30 cubic inch (500 cc) motor.

No SOS flashlight or any extra crap, just a jumper. But it should also work well for a Ranger and, without its case, it would fit in the glove box or easily under a seat (it does come with the case).

And how nuts is this!?!

I wanted to share a pic of the little boat but not a pic I might have shared here earlier (let no one say I reuse material).

So Nano Banana created this image just from a long shot of Kate at the dock. I asked the AI to make a pic of two women taking lake water samples in New Hampshire. It looks like a NH lake, complete with giant friggin' boulders and even got the reg number right! The only issue is both are sitting on folded down seats, but you could sit like that. Kate's driving and that's a good likeness, but I dunno who the other one is, maybe a Dump Babe attracted by Soupie's chin chain! =D

This AI stuff is really convincing ...

Dug out from last Sundays snow storm. I would have done it yesterday. But some limbs came down. And I had to wait for the boro to do something. I did go to work. Got home with enough light to dig out.

Yes, I’m now part of THAT cult. Not the other cult, just this one. I do have some dignity, you know. Even if it is only a shred.
