I actually prefer the rubber mat floor, easier to clean and wears better.
That is one thing that I miss from the F150 that I sold to my Dad, that truck just has the rubber mat floor in it.

Wow, I remember a while back you said you had low miles but I didn't realize it was this low. lol

I think the Scab is like the manual transmission where it only appeals to a very low number and it's not worth them manufacturing them anymore.
Agree, vehicles are expensive these days and when a family needs a truck for truck stuff, as a grocery getter, and a soccer shuttle, they often want a true four door.

Single cabs are also gone unless you just want the lowest trim and rubber mat floor ...
The entry level Ranger XL model features black rubber floor covering, but is only available in a S/Crew configuration.
Apparently the only way to get a single cab or S/Cab configuration is to step up to a F150...

My first helmets were open face Bells, as that was the only brand I knew when I started riding. When I got married in 1977, I bought my first full face helmet, a Kiwi. It had a gun slit opening as most early full faces had. I've had various full face helmets, mostly AGV and Bells, one Arai that didn't fit me very well. The AGVs were the quietest.

This will be the third season with a white Nexx X.WED3 full face. A rather technical helmet, with 7 adjustable vents, Pinlock shield, tinted drop down shield, adjustable visor (peak), emergency release chin pads. Love the visor when riding into the afternoon sun, and with the bike's windshield set at its lowest position there is virtually no flutter.

I beg to differ. I'd love a manual. And I'm betting that since Trump has axed all the emissions bullshit they'll come back around, along with regular cabs and Super Cabs.

Lets hope so.

I hear your on manual transmissions, however rollbacks on emission controls never going to happen from the manufacturers.
Surely you would not forsake a reliable EFI system and regress to a carburetor for a daily driver would you?

Like I said they appeal to a very low number. It's not worth it for a manufacturer to produce a vehicle that you and a few others want. I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice but I wouldn't hold my breath on it happening. Just because the EPA Regs were rolled back everyone knows as soon as another administration gets in the rules will change again and they're not going to gamble with that. This is also dumb because you're playing a political game every 4-8 years which cost money usually at the buyers expense.

I have a Supercab. Right now I'm wishing it would be possible to get a crew with a 6' bed

Such a proposal would encroach into F series territory, Ford would never allow that to happen, although I'm sure they did consider it.
Truth be told, 5th gen Rangers are built with one frame design length, the only difference being cab and bed mounting locations, be it a S/Cab or S/Crew, both models are the same in overall length

I would jump at a 6' bed Supercab, but I'm sure you are right - Ford won't do ANYTHING to threaten F-150 sales. I think that is why the Ranger feels like a forgotten stepchild in NA. Its too bad because I would never consider an F-150 - they are just too big.

OPPPS!! 🤡 Too many tabs open at once- meant to post this in one of my motorcycle forums.

So... Ford did produce a 6G SuperCrew/long bed test vehicle that was spied driving around Dearborn the summer of '23, but not considered for production:
ford-ranger-long-bed-and-wheelbase-side-view-spy-photo.webp.webp

2021 early 6G prototype reg. cab 6ft box. Note LHD but no cab mounted (NA) nor tailgate mounted (ROW) CHMSL or fender vents:

Ford is probably keeping an eye on Taco and Frontier long box sales and keeping these in their back pocket just in case. For now folks who are buying 850,000+ F-Series a year aren't complaining about the size.
As long as Bronco and F-Series are selling well, Ranger will remain, "Ya git whatcha git an' ya don't have a fit!"
