Single cabs are also gone unless you just want the lowest trim and rubber mat floor ...

That is one thing that I miss from the F150 that I sold to my Dad, that truck just has the rubber mat floor in it.I actually prefer the rubber mat floor, easier to clean and wears better.
Agree, vehicles are expensive these days and when a family needs a truck for truck stuff, as a grocery getter, and a soccer shuttle, they often want a true four door.Wow, I remember a while back you said you had low miles but I didn't realize it was this low. lol
I think the Scab is like the manual transmission where it only appeals to a very low number and it's not worth them manufacturing them anymore.
The entry level Ranger XL model features black rubber floor covering, but is only available in a S/Crew configuration.Single cabs are also gone unless you just want the lowest trim and rubber mat floor ...
I was talking full size , F150's and such , no niceties available on single cabs...The entry level XL model features black rubber floor covering, but is only available in a S/Crew configuration
Yups, and to quote my redneck buddy from Jacksonville, FL, S/Cab Rangers will become "rarer than hen's teeth"...lolThe SCAB went the way of the DoDo Bird

I beg to differ. I'd love a manual. And I'm betting that since Trump has axed all the emissions bullshit they'll come back around, along with regular cabs and Super Cabs.Wow, I remember a while back you said you had low miles but I didn't realize it was this low. lol

I hear your on manual transmissions, however rollbacks on emission controls never going to happen from the manufacturers.I beg to differ. I'd love a manual. And I'm betting that since Trump has axed all the emissions bullshit they'll come back around, along with regular cabs and Super Cabs.
Lets hope so.
Like I said they appeal to a very low number. It's not worth it for a manufacturer to produce a vehicle that you and a few others want. I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice but I wouldn't hold my breath on it happening. Just because the EPA Regs were rolled back everyone knows as soon as another administration gets in the rules will change again and they're not going to gamble with that. This is also dumb because you're playing a political game every 4-8 years which cost money usually at the buyers expense.I beg to differ. I'd love a manual. And I'm betting that since Trump has axed all the emissions bullshit they'll come back around, along with regular cabs and Super Cabs.

Such a proposal would encroach into F series territory, Ford would never allow that to happen, although I'm sure they did consider it.I have a Supercab. Right now I'm wishing it would be possible to get a crew with a 6' bed
I would jump at a 6' bed Supercab, but I'm sure you are right - Ford won't do ANYTHING to threaten F-150 sales. I think that is why the Ranger feels like a forgotten stepchild in NA. Its too bad because I would never consider an F-150 - they are just too big.Such a proposal would encroach into F series territory, Ford would never allow that to happen, although I'm sure they did consider it.
Truth be told, 5th gen Rangers are built with one frame design length, the only difference being cab and bed mounting locations, be it a S/Cab or S/Crew, both models are the same in overall length
OPPPS!!My first helmets were open face Bells, as that was the only brand I knew when I started riding. When I got married in 1977, I bought my first full face helmet, a Kiwi. It had a gun slit opening as most early full faces had. I've had various full face helmets, mostly AGV and Bells, one Arai that didn't fit me very well. The AGVs were the quietest.
This will be the third season with a white Nexx X.WED3 full face. A rather technical helmet, with 7 adjustable vents, Pinlock shield, tinted drop down shield, adjustable visor (peak), emergency release chin pads. Love the visor when riding into the afternoon sun, and with the bike's windshield set at its lowest position there is virtually no flutter.
