Let us know how it goes

Freshly installed with only 6psi to start. First impression backing out of driveway at an angle was a 30% less harsh experience. Dropping off the kid this morning it was a significantly softer ride just going straight. A couple rough turns in and out of school were very smooth now. I would say from just that short experience they are worth the purchase.

I have a gravel road I’m going to go test on and do increases in pressure. I will report back my findings.

I'm seriously considering these. I removed my end links a few weeks ago for a couple offroad trips through our local mountains and deserts. It was a HUGE difference in compliance, ride, and comfort. However, on-road handling is not ideal, particularly if you lightly saw the wheel back and forth at anything over 30 MPH.

I also have a large roll curb angled toward our driveway because we are in a cul-de-sac. It's a night-and-day difference pulling in and out with very little body toss.

What I'm curious about is whether they provide the same amount of independent suspension travel as I have now, without any end links.

I would say probably not because they only have 1-2" travel before they bottom out and act solid.

I had planned on trying going in the driveway without the tie rods for comparison but forgot. The tie rods are actually fairly easy to remove I didn't realize, you can easily do it at the trail without tire removal.

Interesting. I wonder if they would clunk and make noise if that's the case.

The problem with removing and reinstalling end links at the trail is that you need a fairly level surface or you end up fighting the bar trying to align the holes. Plus, you are rolling around in the dirt to get it done. Though fairly easy, it takes more time than you realize when your trail buddies begin capping on you for holding things up  I think I would rather remove them in the garage before a trip.

Thank you. Wonder what kind of pressure loss you’ll have overtime….
