Thanks. I miss the house and privacy of having 3 acres with a barn. But I don't miss taking care of 250' of driveway every winter. The lawn got to be a chore cutting it every 4-5 days and expensive to maintain that look and then there's the high taxes (they don't call it Taxachusetts for nothing) and don't even get me started on the dumb gun laws there! 🤬 Now I'm use to an all stone yard which is way less money and maintenance.
And those manly cactus.

Well I don't know about them being manly lol but they are very rare and are only found here in AZ and Mexico with a few (very few, like 30) in SE California. It was one thing I really liked about it here in Southern AZ as they're all over and I always wanted one when we were up in Goodyear. Knowing the history of how old they are and how long it takes them to grow "arm" (75-100 years) is pretty amazing. They can get pretty pricey too at around $100/ft and really pricey to remove because they're protected. Cost to remove (even if it dies and falls) averages $2,500.

My neighbor has a really nice one out front and must be around 100 years old with all the arms.

I can't tell if you're serious lol
dead serious. i've looked around for wheels with a black body and a machined outer rim like that. i've seen a few and they didn't much for me. the wheels in your photo, however, did. looks fantastic.

If you don't mind me saying this.
You got yourself a good bargain for the wheels and I agree. They look good on your truck. IMHO

The house I grew up in (Glendale AZ native) had one of those huge saguaro cacti. Seeing these numbers is always a welcome reminder of how incredible these cacti are.

Not a cacti in sight, but this is what I did with my Ranger today:

There's not a snow plow package, right? Did you have to do anything to the front end to beef it up to support the weight of the plow? Pretty slick set up, though!!

Nope, no plow package.

Since I only do my own driveway, I elected to wait and see how it handles the weight of the plow. So far, it seems OK. Steering feels fine. The place I bought it from and had it installed is about 45 minutes away and even driving home from there with the plow mounted, operating temps were more of a concern than front end weight. At some point, I may decide to go with Bilsteins up front, or something similar.

I haven't noticed any issues with power draw. There's no dimming of lights or evidence of electrical gremlins when I raise the plow.

I have the VeePeak OBDII dongle and OBD Fusion to keep track of engine and transmission temp, both of which stayed in normal, no-plow, range.

The Ranger is probably not a platform I'd recommend for someone who'd be running around town doing driveways, mostly because of temps, but it appears to be a good combo for personal use. It's almost as good as the Jeep Wrangler I used to plow with; I just need to be a bit more thoughtful about how I maneuver.
