The attitude over at Stellantis has become a lot more hostile over the past few decades.

They used to put DODGE on the front of their trucks, to let pedestrians know to get out of the way, Then they changed it to RAM to signify that you have no hope.

I'm pretty sure the owner would mistake my Ranger for a Tesla...so I went to another store...

I suppose this is what it looks like when you hate someone/something so much that you'll deface your own ride just to make sure everyone knows you care more about your own feelings than about your equipment.

You're right, Sid. No way in hell would I park anywhere near that, no matter how I feel.

If I had a Cybertruck I would park right next to her.

And then bask in the video the cameras recorded when she came back to her vehicle.

I'll bet they head their local HOA.
lol A couple weeks ago I was in the garage and the president (and his wife) of our HOA stopped by and introduced themselves. After talking for a while they were trying to convince me to join the board as there's an empty spot open. I had no intension of doing it but I was trying to be nice and said I'd think about it. No way I want to deal with that mess, the reason I retired was to get away from stress and looney people.

So...

"Welcome to the neighborhood! You're retired, right?

Need something to do?

How would you like to be able to officially stick your nose in everybody's business?

If so, we're hiring!"

And of course, my favorite HOA revenge.

Speakers up!

Is it being bold?

Or something else?

I know that when I see any vehicle totally slathered with political bumper stickers of any kind, my first thought is always, "Gee, I'll bet that person is really smart. I should get their opinion..."

That's about right! They said they wanted someone (get this) "younger" lol

So far everyone likes us so I don't want to get on the board (I have no interest anyways) and have them all hate us after. lol The president was telling me he's constantly arguing with a guy down the block and they have shouting matches at some of the meetings. Just what I wanted to hear. Yeah, sign me up.

Kudos for your resistance. I had the same pitch shortly after we moved in, but I said "Sure!!" At the meeting I was nominated and elected President of the HOA. I had never in my life been president of anything.

During my tenure, 2016-2019 we had two 15 ft retaining walls fail, and hail damage to to three of four six-unit complexes; 4in/hr rain & hail. We had a management company that was supposed to oversee such things, but they were very unhelpful, to be kind. We were able to get the all of the roofs reshingled-new vents chimney stacks, etc on our corporate insurance, but we had to let our own bids for civil engineer/contractors for the wall repairs.

Looking back on it, everything turned out well and we remained neighborly throughout. I declined nomination for a second term, :p as I could see we were going to need tuck pointing and there were a couple driveways that could use releveling.

That's the advantage of retaining a management company- all complaints about maintenance, dog poop, landscaping, yada yadda go directly to them, they're the bad guys. The board presides over the general direction and finances and makes requests to the Mgmt Co. The MC also makes periodic inspections of the property and suggests improvements & repairs. All work that the HOA approves is contracted by the MC, and neighbors be neighbors for the most part.

We also have a management company who is supposed to handle all that stuff. I think they do a weekly drive through of the neighborhood looking for violations. Not sure if they really do these checks because when we walk around we see so many violations.

The president says people call and stop him all the time instead of calling the MC. They even come to his house asking questions or giving him suggestions. I don't want that hassle. You're luck yours sounds like it was run better which is rare. When we lived up in Goodyear I had 2 of my friends who joined the board there. They both quit a year later as all the things they wanted to help out with were always voted down.
