It’s the same guy who has the Taurus. This Subie is 2 of 4 different cars.

It is based on an old Legacy.

Winner - Gagnant!

Thank you! Wow, this is such an honour! I don't know what to say!
Thank you to @DukeCanBuildit and this forum for hosting the question. Thank you to all of the random trivia that lives rent-free in my head, and thank you to Google for helping me to confirm it and get pictures. A huge thank you to my family for putting up with all of the time I spend on this forum. Um, who else...? Ummm...(music starts)...oh, I'm out of time. Just, THANK YOU!!!!

Parked next to a massive oak while setting up cameras and a blind for TN deer season. It’s been warm so I’m a little late this year.

My trips to the cottage seem to provide all kinds of oppotrinities to post in this thread. The other day, I headed up to check on things and in the home of Paul Henderson…

Yep, THAT Paul Henderson, there was this little gem at the local Ford dealership…

Maybe someone here can tell me what year it is (1949, 50?)

That's what happens to Canadians when we walk in the shadows of hockey legends. The only thing we remember from grade school is the reverence on the playground to the Gods of Hockey.

I can relate as I started skating a 6 and played hockey all the way through high school. Although I never cared for the Bruins (tough when you grow up in MA) I always liked Bobby Orr as he was our hockey God and a really nice guy.

Our town team had a program with Canada and we use to go to Montreal every other year and they'd come here in between. We'd stay with a family there and got to see and learn the different culture which was pretty cool. I became friends with one family and they invited my family up one spring to stay with them just after the '76 Olympics there. We toured the Olympic village and got to see the original Montreal Forum which I'll always remember. Since then I've been a die hard Habs fan which never went over well growing up in MA as they were and still are rivalries. lol Guy Lafleur was my idol and I played the same position so he helped inspire me as a winger. Now if they could only win another Cup before I die I'd be happy! 🤦‍♂️

My mom is from Montreal, so we're also a Habs family. Patrick Roy was always my favorite, and I still have a mug which is signed from all the members of the 87/88 squad. I wish I could say that I collected all the signatures, but it was bought that way, which is probably why it's lasted so long. Plus, it was a gift from my grandfather, so double the value.

Sadly, we lost another great Hab over the summer when Ken Dryden went to the Great Hockey Rink in the Sky.

Parked next to a 190' cross. This is right off I-40 in Groom, TX and you can see the cross for miles. We've always wanted to stop here but were always in a hurry and finally had time yesterday but it was so cold and windy I only took a few pictures which I'll post elsewhere later. The cross is 19 stories tall, weights 2 1/2 million pounds and was built in just 8 months by 100 welders in 1995.

Wait 'till you stand next to it!

You really can't grasp the size until you're standing under it and you feel like an ant.🐜

On one of the rare occasions I had extra time, I stopped there when I was trucking. I went to all the stations...took my time to read and reflect on each one. Reminded me how small I am and how big and loving HE is.
Grave replica was somehow disappointing, but I don't know what I was expecting really. Nothing in the gift shop touched me either.

Like you, I had been seeing that for years and always wanted to stop. Really glad I finally had time.

I'm glad we did too but I only wish it wasn't so cold because Annie really wanted to see it up close. The 14 stations are very moving and I have pictures of all those along with the scripts in front of them. Loved the Last Supper table, I think that was my favorite for some reason.

Dave, it hasn't gotten any warmer. The wind is still blowing about 40 mph.
