Windows opening by themselves?????

I knew it was there as it was something I wanted for the narrow garage, but I sure can understand why they would not know...

Hmmm, I wonder….….if someone doesn’t have folding mirrors and they have the plug insert like I do, and they’re installing a brake controller, would that spot work or is it something that you need to see?

Hey Steve (@Grumpaw ) your thoughts on that location for a brake controller? Sucks or doesn’t suck?

Ok, had to find some time to modify the wiring diagrams - since they are not (high detail) this is what frustrates me (Aircraft vs Automotive) sometimes they lack detail.

This is showing the LF Window Circuit (Only)

Complete Circuit:

Simulated: RR Down from the Master Switch

Simulated: RR Down from the RR Door Switch

So, the only possible logic (if both the RR and LF) windows are moving DOWN without any switch input is (internally) the switch is shorting power across separate circuits or the wiring running through the door (rubber boot) is shorting and back feeding the switch as all of the wiring for the LF (window motor) is inside the door (Between the LF Switch & LF Motor)

Morning AT! Just updated my initial post. I checked the wiring per your first responses. Did it this past Saturday. Couldn't duplicate the problem. And other than the two episodes that caused my original post, the truck has been perfect. Got another, shorter, road trip this week. So I’ll keep an eye on it. But for now I’m not going to stress it.

Really appreciate the wiring diagram. Besides saving it here, I’m going to print it just in case I end up having to deal with a recurring problem.
