It’s hard to believe it was 24 years ago today that one of the worst tragedies on our soil took place. Please take a moment to stop and remember all those whose lost their lives and for those whose lives changed drastically that day and for those real heroes who ran into harms way while others were running away. I know everyone remembers exactly where they were that day they heard the news that the towers had fallen and that feeling of emptiness, anger and frustration you felt afterwards. We as a country came together and helped out those in need and for a long time everyone was very patriotic and the world seemed more civil and people more polite. How fast we forgot and we’re now so divided as a nation, I hope it doesn’t take another 9/11 to reunite people. Today let’s pray for those who lost their lives and remember it’s not about who’s red or blue but that we’re all brothers and sisters and to act civil towards one another.
